Ottawa, Kan. - The Central Methodist women's wrestling team took the mat for varsity competition for the first time in almost two months, competing in the EZFlex Open hosted by Ottawa University Saturday morning in Ottawa, Kan. 

Four Eagles finished in the Top-5 of their respective weight classes including; Gigi Loza, Da'Viona Bonner, Neveah Cassidy, and Andrea Montoya. Loza took home second place in the 123-pounds weight class, posting a 3-1 record including one win by tech fall. Bonner came in third place at 123-pounds, earning a win by tech fall. 

After losing her first match of the day, Cassidy rattled off three-straight wins to earn a second-place finish at 143 pounds.
