FAYETTE, Mo. – The Central Methodist University women's wrestling program made history in Puckett on Wednesday evening with the program's first-ever dual victory.
"Tonight's win was great," stated head coach Brieana Delgado. "We definitely still have more room to improve on certain aspects, especially offensively, but I'm pumped about this win tonight!"
The Eagles played host to the University of Saint Mary (Kan.), defeating the Spires with a final score of 22-12. The night was highlighted by a pin from Madlyne Navarro (FR/Oceanside, Calif.) over Megan Dougherty and a pair of tech falls by Cora Johnson-Woessner (FR/Encinitas, Calif.) and Jaydan Driskill (FR/Murrieta, Calif.).
