Central Volleyball Ranked No. 25 in Preseason Coaches' Top 25 Poll

Kansas City, Mo. - Coming off their seventh-straight national tournament appearance, the Central Methodist Volleyball program is ranked No. 25 in the preseason edition of the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll, which was released by the national office on Wednesday morning.

Other Heart programs ranked or featured in the national poll include: No. 19 Missouri Baptist, (RV) MidAmerica Nazarene, (RV) Park, and (RV) Benedictine.

The Eagles enter the 2025 season after an incredible 2024 campaign that saw CMU finish with a 26-8 record, and the program's first Heart Regular Season Conference Championship since 2004.

Central returns 10 players from last year's team, highlighted by a pair of Heart All-Conference selections in senior outside hitter Joana Milho and junior opposite Martina Gonzato.

Central welcomes 10 new players to this year's team, which includes six freshmen and four transfers.

CMU opens its season at the Viking Invitational on Friday, August 29, in Marshall, Mo.
