Kansas City, Mo. - For the third time this season, junior libero Krystal Brauner was tabbed as the Heart Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week by the conference office Monday.
Brauner also won the award back on Oct. 17 and August 29.
Last week, Brauner and the Eagles ended the regular season with a four-set win over Missouri Valley. CMU then earned a four-set victory in the Heart Tournament Semifinals over No. 4 seeded Grand View Saturday afternoon.
Against Missouri Valley, Brauner tallied 23 digs, averaging 5.75 digs/set. She matched her career-high in digs against Grand View with 38. In addition, the native of Jefferson City, Mo. also dished out 11 assists on the week.
Overall, Brauner racked up 61 total digs, averaging 7.63 digs/set
