Kansas City, Mo. - For the second time in 2022, junior libero Krystal Brauner was named the Heart Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week, announced by the conference office Monday.
The native of Jefferson City, Mo. averaged an impressive 6.1 digs/set, leading Central to a 2-1 record this past week. She also averaged 1.10 assists/set.
Brauner's best performance came against MNU, finishing the match with 25 digs paired with six assists.
During her time at CMU, she has smashed the career mark for digs, currently sitting at 2,047 and counting.
Brauner and the Eagles return home to host Culver-Stockton College Saturday, Oct. 22 at 1:00 p.m. on Senior Day.
