Parkville, Mo. - The No. 16 Central Methodist volleyball program fell to No. 10 Park University in straight-sets by scores of 25-9, 25-11, and 25-17 Saturday afternoon in Parkville, Mo. 

After today's contest, Central drops to 12-6 and 6-5 in conference play, while the Pirates improve to 14-4 and 8-1 in Heart action. 

CMU's offense struggled against Park's defense, as the Pirates finished the afternoon with 14 blocks and held Central to a -.019 hitting percentage. 

Park tallied a .371 hitting percentage along with eight service aces. 

The Eagles will return home to host Hannibal-LaGrange in a non-conference matchup Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 7:00 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
