Kansas City, Mo. - Three members of the Central Methodist Volleyball program earned All-Region Midwest honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association this past week.
Players Jordan Wolfe and Callie Henson were named to the Midwest All-Region team while Associate Head Coach Garrett Case was tabbed as the Midwest Region Coach of the Year.
Wolfe had a stellar campaign in her final season with the Eagles, as the Camdenton, Mo. native appeared in 37 matches for Central and racked up 322 total kills. She averaged 2.44 kills/set and recorded 112 total blocks.
Henson finished her sophomore season leading the team in both kills (409), and kills/set (3.08), and third in total blocks (85). For her performance in the 2021 NAIA Volleyball National Championship, the Jefferson City, Mo. native was named to the All-Tournament Team. She is just one of 14 players in the nation to earn the honors.
Case was named the Midwest Region Assistant Coach of the Year after helping to lead Central to a 29-9 overall record, a 16-3 mark in Heart Play and a fourth-straight appearance in the conference championship match in 2021. For his efforts in conference action, Case was also tabbed as the Heart Assistant Coach of the Year.
