Kansas City, Mo. - For the first time in her career, senior middle blocker Grace Stumbaugh was tabbed as a third team NAIA All-American, as announced by the national office Tuesday afternoon.
Stumbaugh, a native of Concordia, Mo., was named to the Heart All-Conference First Team after a stellar showing in the fall. She finished the year with a team leading 80 blocks and was second on the team in kills with 201.
Grace was ranked No. 11 in all of the NAIA in hitting percentage (.339) and No. 33 in blocks/game (1.080). She posted a season high 16 kills against No. 1 ranked Park on Oct. 30 and seven blocks vs. Bethel (Ind.) in NAIA National Championship Pool Play in April.
Stumbaugh led the Eagles to a 15-7 overall record, including a conference tournament championship appearance and its third straight trip to the national tournament.
