KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the first time in her career, Mariana Do Nascimento was named Heart Attacker of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.

The Eagles picked up two wins last week over Missouri Valley and Benedictine to run their record to 26-3, including 15-1 in Heart play.

Do Nascimento was a critical piece of the offense that remains perfect against South opponents, hitting a perfect 1.000 in the game versus MVC and an impressive .722 against Benedictine. Her dominant play at the net racked up a total of 21 kills and five blocks.

Next up for the Eagles is Senior Night against MidAmerica Nazarene on Tuesday, Oct. 29. First serve is set for 7 pm in Puckett Fieldhouse.
