Eagles Win In Straight Sets Over Haskell
Lawrence, Kan. The Central Methodist University volleyball team had their way with Haskell Indian Nations University on Thursday evening, winning their match 3-0 in Lawrence, Kansas. The final scores were: 25-21, 25-14, and 25-20.

With the victory, the Lady Eagles improve to 11-5 overall, while Haskell Indian Nation falls to 2-9 overall.

Central Methodist defeated Haskell Indian Nations University for the second time in the last five days. The Lady Eagles defeated Haskell 3-0 on September 12th by finals of 25-15, 25-19, and 25-19 at the Avila Tournament last weekend. Tonight's results were very similar in another 3-0 win for the Lady Eagles.

Leaders for the Lady Eagles were Lindsay Smith with 15 kills. Savvy Hughes and Caitlin Petty both finished with a team high 16 assists and Erin Dodd lead the team with 22 digs.

The Lady Eagles will take the weekend off, before returning to action next Wednesday when CMU travels to face Benedictine College in a conference match on September 23rd at 7pm.
