With the loss, the Lady Eagles fall to 10-5 overall and 1-2 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. With the victory, Culver-Stockton improves to 4-8 overall and 1-1 in conference play.

Central Methodist got off to a slow start on Tuesday evening, dropping the first set to the Wildcats 25-15.
�
In the second set, the Lady Eagles came alive and started to play like they have in their previous nine matches. In a hard fought second set, CMU came out victorious by a final of 25-22.
�
Culver-Stockton proved to be too tough for the Lady Eagles, as the Wildcats pulled away with 25-20 and 25-18 victories in the third and fourth set to claim the 3-1 match victory.
�
In the losing effort, Lindsay Smith led CMU with 11 kills, Savvy Hughes and Caitlin Petty led the squad in assists with 18 and 11 respectively. Erin Dodd and Darcy Latham led the team in digs with 17 and 11 each.

The Lady Eagles remain on the road, as they step outside of conference play to take on Haskell Indian Nations University this Thursday at 7pm in Lawrence, Kansas.
