KANSAS CITY - Central Methodist picked up its first Heart of America Athletic Conference win this season at Avila (Mo.) on Wednesday in three games by scores of 25-21, 25-10 and 25-19.

Jordan Jackson led Central Methodist (13-6, 1-2 HAAC) with 13 kills, as she has posted double-digit figures in nine of the last 10 matches. Jennifer Long tallied nine kills. Christine Koepke posted a double-double with 14 assists and 13 digs. Andrea Lopez came up with 11 digs. Hannah Willis had nine digs. Melody Hanson dished out 21 assists.

Central Methodist travels to Missouri Valley on Friday. First serve is set for 7 p.m. CT.
