LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Central Methodist University volleyball team split a pair of matches Saturday afternoon in a tri-match. The Eagles (5-14) lost in five games to Mid-America Christian University before defeating�Haskell Indian Nations University in four sets.

After winning the first two sets, 25-23 and 26-24, of the first match of the day, the Eagles lost the final three by scores of 20-25, 23-25 and 12-15.

Central Methodist handled the tri-match host squad in the final match, winning by scores of�25-23, 25-23, 23-25 and 25-16.

Central Methodist will host Missouri Valley College on Tuesday, Oct. 9, on "YMCA & Black Out Night." First servie inside Puckett Field House is set for 7:30 p.m. CT.
