CMU Loses Conference Match at MidAmerica Nazarene
The Central Methodist University volleyball team split the first two games of its match at MidAmerica Nazarene Tuesday night, but the Pioneers won games three and four to win the conference match 18-25, 25-16, 19-25, 20-25.

Senior Erica LaBoube (Berger, Mo.) led the Lady Eagles with 13 kills and two blocks, equaling her season-high for kills that she posted Saturday. Freshman Makenzie Shepard (Leavenworth, Kan.) added nine kills, while senior Nikki Torno (St. Louis, Mo.) finished with five kills and three blocks. Freshman Jennifer Garrett (Higginsville, Mo.) also had five kills to go with her 12 digs. Sophomore Sarah Lewey (Kansas City, Mo.) just missed a double-double, finishing with 19 assists, nine digs and three ace serves. Freshman Laura Queen (Rogersville, Mo.) added 12 assists. Junior Melanie Touchette (Millstadt, Ill.) let CMU defensively, recording 14 of the team's 66 digs in the match.

CMU dropped to 4-9 overall and 0-5 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. MidAmerica Nazarene improved to 6-14 and 2-1. The Lady Eagles will be in action again Friday when they travel to Missouri Baptist University.
