Fayette, Mo. - Seven members of the Central Methodist Men's and Women's Track & Field program earned CSC Academic All-District honors earlier this week.
For the women, CMU was represented by Allena Rowland, Emma Paninka, Maria Sahagun, Haley Bellamy, Annemarie Koerner, and Shannon O'Neil. The men were represented by Oliver Cabana.
The trio of Rowland, Bellamy, and Paninka are now two-time Academic All-District selections, as each was recognized in 2025.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes cross country/track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
To be nominated for the All-District Team, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, ranked in the Top-25 in conference in a single event (indoor or outdoor), and hold at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average at their current institution. A maximum of six athletes, both men and women, can be nominated.
Six of the seven athletes recognized earned NAIA All-America honors this year at either the indoor or outdoor nationals, highlighted by Bellamy's national championship in the pentathlon.
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 14 (men) and July 15 (women).
