Overland Park, Kan. - For the third consecutive week, a member of the Central Methodist Women's Outdoor Track & Field program earned weekly honors from the conference office.
Sophomore Bailey Arceneaux was named the Heart Women's Track Athlete of the Week, following Shannon O'Neil (3/30) and both Joana Vakasobuduru and Zyaire Robinson (3/24).
It marks the first weekly honor for the native of Kansas City.
During the CMU Invite, held this past weekend at Davis Field and Hairston Track, Arceneaux competed in three races, including two relays. She hit the A standard time in all three races she took part in, including a first-place finish in the 400m (54.90) and the 4x400m relay (3:43.47)
Additionally, the relays both broke the school record in their respective races.
