Finke and Bellamy Earn CSC Academic All-America Honors

Austin, Texas - The 2025 Academic All-America NAIA Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), have been announced.

Central boasts two selections, as senior Renee Finke was named to the First Team, while fellow senior Haley Bellamy landed on the Second Team.

The duo are both first-time Academic All-America selections and are among just 21 student-athletes from across the NAIA Division to earn the award.

Finke is a biology major that boasts a 4.0 GPA. The native of Montgomery City, Missouri finished her CMU career with a pair of All-America finishes at indoor nationals this past March. Finke posted a third place standing in the pentathlon with a new school record 3789 points, while also finishing seventh in the high jump.

Finke, concluded her CMU career as a six-time conference champion, a seven-time NAIA All-American, and the 2024 Outdoor National Champion in the High Jump.

Bellamy is a biology major with a 3.55 GPA from nearby St. Louis, Missouri. This past year, Bellamy earned All-America honors in the pentathlon and hepathlon, concluding each multi competition with a fourth place standing. She also earned a pair of conference championships in the indoor and outdoor high jump in 2025.

Bellamy is now a three-time NAIA All-American and will compete for the Eagles Track & Field program for one final set of indoor and outdoor seasons this coming year.

The Academic All-America program celebrates college student-athletes who perform at an elite level in their chosen sport and in the classroom. The all-time list of 42,000+ Academic All-Americans includes major sports stars and some of the world's most accomplished individuals in medicine, business, science, and the arts.

Established in 1952 and selected by College Sports Communicators, Academic All-America is the longest-running and premier award for athletic and academic success across championship college sports at all NCAA levels, the NAIA, two-year colleges, and Canadian institutions. Teams are announced year-round and amplified by CSC member colleges, universities, and conferences on a wide local, regional, national, and even international scope.
