Marion, Ind. - The Central Methodist Women's Track and Field program concluded their season at the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships this past week on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.

The CMU women were represented by Haley Bellamy (High Jump & Heptathlon), Aroa Carballo (400m Hurdles), Diane Ondobo (400m Dash), Zakiya Porter (100m & 200m Dash), Allena Rowland (400m Dash), Parys Smith (100m Hurdles), and Joana Vakasobuduru (Javelin).

Additionally, the 4x100m relay (Porter, Vakasobuduru, Smith, Ondobo & Zyaire Robinson) and the 4x400m relay teams (Ondobo, Vakasobuduru, Carballo, Rowland & Bellamy) also represented Central.

Central brought home five total All-Americans, beginning with Bellamy in the Heptathlon. The senior from St. Louis, Missouri, finished fourth in the two-day, seven-event competition with 4,774 total points.

To highlight the event, she placed first in the long jump (5.50 meters), third in the 100m hurdles (14.68 seconds), and fourth in the 800m run (2:27.16).

Bellamy is now a three-time All-American in her CMU career in the multis.

She also competed in the Open High Jump, clearing a height of 1.61 meters to finish in a tie for 25th place.

The 4x400m relay team of Ondobo, Vakasobuduru, Carballo, and Rowland ran a preliminary time of 3:49.40 to punch their ticket to Friday's final.

The team followed that up at 3:48.73 in the finals, finishing as national runner-up and earning All-America honors.

Carballo competed in the 400m hurdles and just missed the finals' cut, clocking a preliminary time of 1:02.48. Rowland (57.26) and Ondobo (58.25) placed 13th and 17th, respectively, in the 400m dash.

Porter competed in both the 100m and 200m dashes. In the 200m, the junior from Fulton, Missouri, finished 18th with a preliminary time of 25.07 seconds.

Porter advanced to Friday's 100m final after running a prelim time of 11.90 seconds. Entering the final in the No. 9 spot, she finished ninth with a time of 12.67 seconds after sustaining an injury 3/4 of the way down the stretch.

Smith placed 17th in the 100m hurdles in 14.73 seconds.

Vakasobuduru competed in the javelin and completed a throw of 38.65 meters on her first attempt to finish 17th.

The 4x100m relay team finished 12th after running a time of 46.99 seconds in the preliminary heats.

The Eagles, after scoring 13 points as a team, finished in a tie for 22nd place in the final standings.
