New Orleans, La. - The Central Methodist Women's Track and Field program is ranked No. 4 in the first edition of the USTFCCCA NAIA Outdoor National Rating Index, which was released Wednesday.
It marks the highest outdoor ranking for the program in school history, as they were previously ranked No. 5 twice during the 2023 season. The Eagles lead a trio of Heart schools which are ranked in the Top 25 including; No. 20 Benedictine and No. 22 MidAmerica Nazarene.
Junior Renee Finke stands out for the Eagles through the first full week of the outdoor season. The native of Montgomery City, Missouri leads the nation with a mark of 1.68m in the High Jump. In addition, the Eagles feature six athletes with Top 5 national marks and nine inside the Top 10.
Central is set to host the CMU Invite beginning Friday, March 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Davis Field and Hairston Track.
