Gulf Shores, Ala. - The Central Methodist outdoor track and field program is sending 11 athletes to compete in the 2022 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships this upcoming week in Gulf Shores, Ala.
The championships, hosted by the Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Sports Commission, will take place at the Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium Complex in Gulf Shores, Ala. May 25-27.
Central will be represented in 14 different events, with six athletes on the women's side and five on the men's.
Megan Aubuchon (100m hurdles), Dayana Montenegro (400m dash), Keiara-Ashley Cunningham (400m hurdles), Sadie Heisner (pole vault), Kailey Johnson (100m hurdles and 400m hurdles), and Kaitlyn Weber (Long Jump) will represent the CMU women.
The CMU men will be represented by Alexander Ayala (400m hurdles), Taylor Bottomley (Shot Put, Discus, and Hammer), Jonathan Brown (High Jump), Brennan Moots (110m hurdles), Adam Trachsel (100m dash).
