Kansas City, Mo. – Central Methodist sophomore Kaitlyn Weber was named Heart field athlete of the week after a strong showing at the Lincoln University Open Sunday afternoon.

Weber, who was also named Heart Athlete of the week during the indoor season, claimed first place in the long jump with a mark of 5.43m. She also hit a new personal best in the triple jump with mark of 11.21m, good enough for second place.

The Eagles will be back in action at the UCM Mule Relays on Friday, April 16 in Warrensburg, Mo., the meet is set for a 1:00 p.m. start.
