Women's Soccer Garners 21 NAIA Scholar-Athletes

Kansas City, Mo. - Twenty-one members of the Central Methodist Women's Soccer team were named 2022 Daktronics NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes by the national office Monday. 

Central Methodist was represented by the following student-athletes; Celine Witt, Joya-Maria Azzi, Peyton Beem, Aina Cantero, Maria Cervello, Abigail Crispell, Avery Davis, Kala Jo Davis, Max De Armas Colombo, Emma Doyle, Carly Edwards, Bailey Grossman, Maci Hardwick, Sandra Jakobsen, Amanda Mantel, Kaia Randklev, Laura Riesenbeck, Madison Shields, Natalie Snell, Kitti Torok, and Alicia Zamora. 

The group is among 1,557 student-athletes from across the country to be recognized. 

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at the said institution.
