Villar earns Heart Weekly honors for fourth time

Kansas City, Mo. - For the fourth time this season, senior forward Andrea Villar was recognized as this week's Heart Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

The Madrid, Spain native previously earned the award on Sept. 27, Sept. 20, and Sept. 6th. This past week, Villar tallied three goals in two matches, highlighted by a free-kick from 20-yards out with a minute remaining to score the game-winner against No. 8 Oklahoma Wesleyan.

She also picked up a brace in the regular-season finale against the Park Saturday. Overall, Villar has recorded 23 goals and four assists in only 17 matches this season.

Central has earned the No. 1 overall seed in the upcoming Heart Conference tournament and will host No. 8 seeded Clarke University Saturday, Nov. 6 at 6:00 p.m. at Davis Field.

The Eagles defeated Clarke, 3-0 back on Oct. 23 during senior day.
