Villar earns third Heart Offensive Player of the Week honor

Kansas City, Mo. - For the third time this season, senior midfielder Andrea Villar was tabbed as the Heart Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday morning.

The Madrid, Spain native scored six goals for the Eagles last week and netted her second-straight four-goal match in the contest against Evangel Wednesday. She followed that up with two more goals in the win over William Penn.

Villar has tallied an impressive 17 goals in eight matches so far this season. The No. 8 Eagles are currently 7-1 overall this season and a perfect 4-0 in conference action.

CMU will next host No. 22 Benedictine College Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 5:00 p.m. at Davis Field.
