Michelle has played soccer since she was 5 years old. She played for Troy United Soccer Club from the ages 12-18, and the Troy Buchanan Varsity program all 4 years of highschool.

Raines was named team captain of both her club and high school teams. She is also received an academic all American award and defensive player of the year award.

Michelle is the daughter of Jerry and Pat Raines. She has one younger brother, Jacob. When Michelle is not playing soccer she is outdoors, playing with her dogs, or spending time with friends. She aspires to be a doctor and have no debt.
