With the victory, Central Methodist improves to 10-5-2 overall and 6-2-1 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. With the loss, Avila falls to 4-10-2 overall and 2-7-0 in The Heart.

The Lady Eagles struck in the fourth minute, when Nicki Noreen found Zendy Montalvo to give CMU the 1-0 advantage.
�
Central Methodist struck for their second goal of the match in the 20th minute, when Nicki Noreen scored. Noreen missed her first shot on goal, got her own rebound and the put back was good to give CMU a 2-0 lead.

The second half featured sound defense and Central Methodist hung on for the 2-0 victory.
�
In the win, CMU outshot Avila 11-8.

Amy Clason-Messina picked up the victory in goal for Central Methodist while recording a save.

The Lady Eagles close out the 2015 regular season portion of their schedule this Saturday at MidAmerica Nazarene University. Saturday's match is schedule to begin at 1pm.
