FAYETTE, Mo. - Central Methodist tied Graceland (Iowa), 1-1, in double overtime on Saturday in Heart of America Athletic Conference action at Davis Field.
Saturday's contest marked the final regular-season home match for eight Eagles' seniors: Jamie Krediet, Ashley Bundren, Kelsey Vanzant, Bola Adeoba, Bailey Brown, Erin Winschel, Sam Savio and Lauren Gagnon.
Central Methodist (9-3-4, 1-3-1), which is unbeaten in its last 10 matches (4-0-6) that have gone into extra time, struck first in the 13th minute when Nicki Noreen scored her 10th goal this season.
Graceland (8-6-2, 2-2-1) tied the affair in the 23rd minute when Brooke Douglas found the back of the net on a penalty kick for her first goal in 2014.
Savio made three saves in 110 minutes as the Eagles' goalkeeper.
Yellowjackets' keeper Miranda Hunzeker recorded eight saves in 110 minutes.
Central Methodist travels to Culver-Stockton (Mo.) on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 1 p.m. CT.
