FAYETTE, Mo. - After two overtimes, Central Methodist and Culver-Stockton (Mo.) played to a 1-1 tie Wednesday evening at Davis Field. The Eagles are now unbeaten in their last four matches (2-0-2).
Reigning Heart of America Athletic Conference Player of the Week Nicki Noreen gave Central Methodist (9-6-2, 1-3-2) a 1-0 lead in the 50th minute on a blast from 16 yards out.
Alyx Seats tied the match for Culver-Stockton (8-8-1, 1-4-1) with a goal in the 82nd minute off an assist from Brittney McMahon.
Eagles' goalkeeper Meredith Brick made three saves in 110 minutes.
Wildcats' netminder Mackenzie Little recorded seven saves playing the full match.
Central Methodist outshot Culver-Stockton, 15-11.
The Eagles host Baker (Kan.) on Saturday, Oct. 26, for Senior Day. Kickoff from Davis Field is set for 5 p.m. CT.
