OLATHE, Kan. - Central Methodist surrendered two goals in the first 10 minutes and fell at MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) 4-0 on Saturday at Pioneer Field.
Misty Olsen and Kara Collins scored in the sixth and 10th minutes, respectively, to give MidAmerica Nazarene (9-1-2, 1-0-1) the early momentum. The Pioneers added goals in the 23rd and 49th minutes to conclude the scoring.
Jamie Krediet, Sam Savio and Elvia Valdez each had one shot on goal for Central Methodist (7-5, 0-2).
Goalkeepers Hayley Fife and Breanna Oddo combined for the shutout for the Pioneers.
Netminder Meredith Brick recorded three saves for the Eagles in 67:04. Raechel Favuzza made one save in relief.
The Eagles host Missouri Valley on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Kickoff from Davis Field is set for 5 p.m. CT.
