ATCHISON, Kan. - Central Methodist University lost a Heart of America Athletic Conference women's soccer match to Benedictine College 7-0 on Saturday night.�
The Ravens (12-1, 2-0 HAAC) scored three first half goals against the Eagles (6-4, 0-2 HAAC) as seven different players scored in the match. Ashley Washburn scored the only goal the home team would need in the second minute of the match.
Benedictine outshot Central Methodist 36-2.�
Central Methodist's Kelsey Vanzant and Jen McIntyre each had one shot in the contest.�
Goalkeeper Ashley Holland made one save for the Ravens in 75:41 of action.�Sally Feldewart played the final 14:19 in goal for the home team.
Brittany Andert had five saves for the Eagles from her goalkeeper position in the first half. Goalkeeper Meredith Brick added six saves in the final 45 minutes.�
Central Methodist will travel to Missouri Valley College on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT.
