KANSAS CITY, Mo. � Central Methodist University teammates Lindie Adair and Brittany Andert were chosen the Heart of America�Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, on Monday afternoon.
Adair accounted for half of her team's offensive output last week as the Eagles won both of their matches to�improve to 5-1 on the season. The sophomore forward from Boonville, Mo., scored twice in a 4-0 win over Ottawa University (Kan.) before�adding a goal and an assist in a 2-0 triumph over Hannibal-LaGrange University.
The Eagles' defensive unit led by Andert did not allow a goal in 180�minutes of play last week. A junior goalkeeper from St. Peters, Mo., she made two saves in 54 minutes of the win over Ottawa before�recording three saves while logging all 90 minutes of the win over Hannibal-LaGrange. Andert wins the award for the second time this season.
The HAAC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week will represent the conference for the NAIA awards, which�will be announced no later than Tuesday afternoon.
