The Central Methodist University women's soccer team announced the signing of Helias High School senior Arielle Chambers to a letter of intent to join the Lady Eagles for the 2011 season.

"I am extremely excited to add Arielle to our women's soccer program," CMU Head Coach Dan Schmidlin said. "She is very athletic and will cause a lot of problems for opponents in the open field. She is a hard worker who will compete for playing time as a freshman."

Chambers, a native of Jefferson City, Mo., has been a four-year varsity player at Helias. This year, Chambers is serving as a team captain at Helias after helping lead the team to two straight district championships. She received first-team all-district honors in 2009. Chambers is a three-sport athlete, also competing in softball and basketball at Helias.
