Fulton, Mo. The Central Methodist University's women's golf team finished play on Wednesday afternoon at the Boone Hospital/William Woods University Spring Invite and finished in a tie for eighth place.

Central Methodist had three golfers finish in the top 40, led by Hannah Clark (Kansas City, Kan.), who finished tied for 23rd place individually with a final round of 89. Jamie Gisburne (Arlington, Tex.) finished in 26th, while Kaitlyn Rogers (Carl Junction, Mo.) finished in 38th place.

William Woods University took home both the team and individual titles.

The Lady Eagles golf team returns to the links on Monday and Tuesday in Nebraska City, Nebraska, when they compete in the Peru State Invite, beginning at 9am each day.
