Lady Eagles Make Strides On Day Two
Boonville, Mo. The Central Methodist University's women's golf team finished play at this year's CMU Eagles Fall Invite at the Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville, Missouri on Wednesday afternoon. The Lady Eagles finished in seventh place for the invitational.

Other schools that participated in the invite included Baker University, Columbia College, Hannibal-LaGrange University, Missouri Valley College and William Woods University.

"We are a very young team," said CMU head coach Jim Ray Kluck. "The good news is that our scores improved from day one and our girls made the right strides here on day two. The future looks very promising for this young bunch."

Hannah Clark led all Lady Eagles with a final round 81, finishing the tournament 20 over par; which was good for 11th place.

Jamie Gisburne, Alex Fjeseth, Kaitlyn Rogers, and Alexis Hagemeyer all finished in the top 40 of the invite for the Lady Eagles.

William Woods University's first and second teams finished in the top two for team scores and had all but one of the top individual finishes for the invite.

The Lady Eagles will next be in action on October 7th and 8th, when they travel to Marshall, Missouri to take part in the Missouri Valley Fall Tournament.
