MARSHALL, Mo. - Central Methodist sits in third place after the first day of the Missouri Valley Spring Invitational at Indian Hills Golf Course. The Eagles carded a 376 on the Par 72, 5,675-yard course.

The Eagles' Alannah Hustead and Allison Quigley are tied for ninth overall, as each player shot a 91. Hustead shot a 43 on the front nine, while Quigley fired a 45 on the back nine. Jamie Gisburne and Ashley Spaulding are tied for 18th, as each player carded a 97 after 18 holes. Gisburne shot a 48 on the front nine, and Spaulding recorded a 44 on the back nine. Jessi Norton is tied for 22nd with a 101 (49-52).

Graceland (Iowa) leads the tournament with a team score of 355. Lindsey Mateer of Baker (Kan.) is in first place after day one with a 12-over 84 (40-44).

The final round of tournament play begins Tuesday at 9 a.m. CT.
