Fayette, Mo. - The Central Methodist men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete in the 2020 Heart of America Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships Saturday morning in Baldwin City, Kansas, hosted by fellow Heart member Baker University. 

The women's race is set to start at 11:00 a.m. followed by the men's race at 11:45 a.m. Out of an abundance of caution, spectators will not be allowed to attend the event. This difficult decision aligns with the current Heart Promise guidelines developed by the Heart Task Force and Heart Council of Presidents (COP).

The top ten finishers in each event will earn Heart All-Conference honors, while individuals finishing 11th-15th will be recognized as Heart Honorable Mention athletes. The winning team and runner-up of the championship events will earn automatic bids to the NAIA Cross Country National Championships, which are set to take place on April 9, 2020.
