KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Central Methodist men's cross country team will be sending two representatives to the NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championships hosted in Vancouver, Wash., on November 22.

Radovan Kemboi (JR/Eldoret, Ken.) will race in his second national championship after winning the conference title on Saturday. Kemboi finished in 31st place at last year's national championship, just six places away from All-American status.

Elliot Knernschield (SR/Jefferson City, Mo.) will be joining his teammate in the Pacific Northwest after finishing 6th at the Heart conference championship on Saturday.

The field is made up of 24 automatic qualifying teams, one host berth and 12 at-large berths. A team can automatically qualify by winning the conference championship meet or by being the meet runner-up (for conferences with more than one automatic qualifier) that is ranked in the Top 30 final poll.

In addition to the team qualifiers and at-large bids, 81 athletes will compete as individual qualifiers.
