TOWSON, Md. � Central Methodist senior Lucas Manring and junior Ryan Sherman have been named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-America� College Division men's cross country/track and field teams, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Manring was named to the second team, while Sherman was a third team selection.

The College Division Academic All-America� men's cross country/track and field teams are comprised of student-athletes from NAIA, Canadian and two-year institutions.

Manring sported a�3.56 grade point average (GPA) in Accounting. The Stockton, Mo.,�native placed third in the 800 Meter Run in the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, earning All-America honors.

Sherman touts a 3.60 GPA in Business. The Fayette, Mo.,�finished 10th in the 200 Meter Run at the�NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.
