Park City, Kan. — The NAIA Men's Wrestling National Championships concluded Saturday as Central Methodist saw two wrestlers earn All-America honors on the final day of competition inside Hartman Arena.

Roman Garcia (174) and Arojae Hart (141) each secured podium finishes for the Eagles, helping Central finish tied for 14th place in the final team standings with 31.5 points.

The Eagles also posted the second-highest finish among teams from the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

Garcia delivered an overall strong performance in the tournament, advancing through the consolation bracket to reach the third-place match. In the consolation semifinals, Garcia earned a 3–2 decision over Reese Jones of Life to secure his spot in the podium bout.

In the third-place match, Garcia battled Daniil Gorshkov of Embry-Riddle, but ultimately fell by a 4–1 decision to finish fourth overall and claim All-America honors. Garcia is now a three-time NAIA All-American for the Eagles, the first in program history. 

Hart also put together an impressive run on the backside of the bracket to reach the medal rounds. In Consolation Round 5, Hart edged Horacio Godinez of Evergreen State College by a 4–2 decision to advance to the consolation semifinals.

Hart then faced Mauro Michel of Life University, dropping a tightly contested 2–1 decision to move into the fifth-place match.

In the final bout of his tournament run, Hart squared off against Tyler Rhue of Southern Oregon University and came up just short in a 5–4 decision, finishing sixth overall and earning All-America recognition. He finishes his CMU career as a two-time national qualifier and NAIA All-American.
