Park City, Kan. – The Central Methodist men's wrestling team continued competition Friday at the 2026 NAIA Men's Wrestling National Championships in Park City, Kansas.
Two Eagles secured All-American honors. Arojae Hart (141) and Roman Garcia (174).
Hart opened his tournament with a tough loss to No. 13 seed Tyler Rhue of Southern Oregon in sudden victory. He responded with a strong performance in the consolation bracket, earning an 11-2 major decision over No. 15 seed Michael Trujillo of Arizona Christian.
Hart then secured his All-American status in the blood round, defeating No. 14 Horacio Godinez of Evergreen in a tight 4-2 decision. He will begin day three against No. 10 seed Mauro Michel of Life University.
Garcia advanced to the semifinals after defeating No. 7 seed Weston Melvin by a 7-2 decision in the quarterfinal round. In the semifinal match, Garcia battled Kris Ketchum of Grand View in a closely contested bout but fell by a narrow 1-0 decision.
He will open the final day of competition against No. 5 seed Reese Jones of Life University.
