Warrensburg, Mo. – The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling program earned two podium finishes at the UCM Kaufman Brand Bayly Open on Saturday, highlighted by solid performances from Blake Eads and Konner Burch in the Amateur division.

Eads delivered the Eagles' top finish of the tournament, placing fourth in the Amateur 149 pound bracket. After dropping his opening match, he stormed through the consolation bracket with a series of dominant victories, including two technical falls and a shutout decision win. Eads advanced to the third-place match before ultimately claiming fourth, closing the day with a team-high 13 points.

In the Amateur 174 pound bracket, Burch put together an impressive run to finish sixth overall. Following an early loss, he quickly rebounded with three consecutive wins, highlighted by a major decision, a decisive 8–3 victory, and a third-period fall that propelled him deep into the consolation rounds. Burch reached the fifth-place match and secured a sixth-place finish while contributing 8.5 team points.

The Eagles return to dual action against Graceland University, traveling to Lamoni to take on the Yellowjackets Thursday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m.
