Marshall, Mo. - The No. 16 Central Methodist Men's Wrestling team remained close to home this weekend, competing in Marshall, Missouri at the MVC Invite. 

CMU was represented by 13 different Eagles in seven different weight classes. 

Freshman Jacob Ruff was Central's highest finisher, as the native of Warrenton, Missouri posted a fourth place standing in the 197 pound weight class. 

Ruff concluded the day with a 3-2 record, while Drake Jenkins tallied four wins against two losses at 157 pounds. Both Charlie Fitzgerald and Peyton Asbury each finished the Open with a 3-2 record at 141 and 165 pounds respectively. 

Central will return to Puckett Field House for a nationally ranked matchup against No. 18 Missouri Valley College Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 7:00 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
