Kansas City, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling program opens the 2024-25 campaign ranked No. 16 in the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll, which was released by the national office last week.
Additionally, seven Eagle grapplers are ranked individually, led by 2024 NAIA All-Americans Cameron Cornman and Roman Garcia, who are ranked No. 5 and No. 6 in the 197-pound and 174-pound weight classes, respectively.
Redshirt junior Colton King landed just outside the Top 10 in the 125-pound weight class at No. 11, while the duo of Austin Foye and Garine Gibson are 13th and 16th in the heavyweight division.
Newcomers Arojae Hart and Sincere Hall-Osbourne are ranked 18th and 25th in the 133-pound and 184-pound weight classes, respectively, to round out the CMU-ranked wrestlers.
Central opens the regular season at home against William Woods on Thursday, Oct. 31 at 8:00 p.m. in Puckett Field House.

Rating Methodology
- The rating was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the eight conferences/groups.
- Two days prior to the national rating, each qualifying group rater submits the top 10 individuals from each weight class in his conference into the system. Only wrestlers listed on a conference ballot are considered for the national ballot.
- The top 25 individuals in each weight class is based on how each voter ranks the best individuals. An individual receives 25 points for each first place vote, 24 for second place and so on through the list. This same point system is used to determine the team ranking.
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed and the team's ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot
