Wichita, Kan. - Central Methodist junior grappler Brenden Shelton is set to represent CMU at the 65th annual NAIA Men's Wrestling National Championship March 4-5 at Hartman Arena in Wichita, Kan. 

Shelton will compete in the championships for the second-straight year, after becoming CMU's first-ever national quaifier in 2021. He has been ranked in the Top-10 of his individual weight class in six consecutive polls this season, and enters nationals with a 12-7 overall record.  

The native of Colon, Mich. will open the competition in the 285-pound bracket against Gabe Craig of Campbellsville in the first session Friday, March 4 beginning at 10:00 a.m. 

All matches will be streamed live via FloWrestling. Spectators can view the live results and brackets through TrackWrestling. Additionally, the championship session on Saturday will also be distributed on ESPN3 (www.watchespn.com).
