Atchison, Kan. / Lamoni, Iowa - The Central Methodist men's wrestling team squared off against two Heart opponents this week beginning with a trip to face Benedictine College on Wednesday, followed by a dual against Graceland Thursday.
Junior grappler Brenden Shelton highlighted the week for the Eagles, as the No. 9 grappler at 285 pounds won both of his matches. He Defeated Chase Avila of Benedictine College by Fall at 0:38 on Wednesday, and then knocked off Graceland's David Toese by a narrow 9-8 Decision Thursday night.
