Fayette, Mo. - The Central Methodist men's wrestling team fell in a tight contest to Univeristy of Saint Mary by a final score of 30-21 Thursday night inside Puckett Fieldhouse. 

After dropping the first contest via forfeit, the Spires rattled off back-to-back wins in the 133 and 141 pound weight classes to tie the dual at 6-6. Sophomore Trenton Legrotte put Central back out in front, winning the 149-pound bout by Fall at 6:19. 

However, USM would respond and strung together four consecutive wins to take a 30-12 lead entering the 197-pound match. Reigning Heart Wrestler of the Week, Trevor Bodine pushed his overall record to 11-2 with a narrow 5-4 Decision over Avery Jaramille. The 285-pound weight class was open for the Spires, giving Central three points and making the final score 30-21 in favor of USM.
