FAYETTE, Mo. - Vice President for Athletics & Student Life, Natasha Wilson, has announced the hiring of Kenny Anderson as the next Central Methodist University Head Cross Country/Track & Field Coach. He boasts nearly a decade of coaching experience and specializes in sprints and hurdles.
"We're very excited to have Coach Anderson at the helm of our cross country/track and field programs," stated Wilson. "Coach Anderson will bring a wealth of knowledge to the program. His energy and enthusiasm for the sport are second to none and we're sure he'll continue to push our programs forward."
Anderson will join the Eagles after spending two seasons as the Assistant Track & Field Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for Johnson C. Smith University (NCAA Division II). During his time with the Golden Bulls, Anderson has coached 15 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), two CIAA individual runner-ups, and inked four New Balance All-Americans. Prior to his time with Johnson C. Smith, Anderson made stops on the track at Bolles School and Withrow High School. He also served as an assistant coach on the women's basketball side for Stetson University (NCAA Division I) and Lynn University (NCAA Division II).

I just want to thank everyone that I have worked with and coached throughout the years. I'm grateful for the opportunities they have given me and the impact they have made," shared Anderson. Anderson, a Florida native, graduated with a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Florida A&M University. He will official begin his duties at Central Methodist effective July 16th.
