Biography (provide notes on your background in the sport you now compete in.) |
I ran for three years in high school. We did not have a cross country team, so I didn't start cross until my freshman year of college. In high school I competed in the 800M, 1,600M, 3,200M, and the 4x400m relay. |
|
Previous College (if necessary) |
I attended Lane Community College and ran for the University of Oregon Running Club in Eugene, Oregon. |
|
High School (stats, awards, etc.) |
In high school, I was a top 3 league placer in the 1,600M and 3,200M my sophomore and junior years. As a team, we won the league championship all 3 years I competed. I finished #4 all-time in the 1,600M at my high school and #3 all-time in the 3,200M. My senior year I was a runner-up for the Orland High School Male Athlete of the Year. |

Personal Information (family, hobbies, goals, and dreams) |
My brother, Brandon, played collegiate football for Butte College and just recently graduated from Chico State with a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science. My mom, Melinda, is currently attending nursing school at Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon. My dad, Mark, is the Transportation and Maintenance Supervisor for the Orland Unified School District in Orland, California. My hobbies include doing any sort of outdoor activity, being with friends and family, watching sports, and playing as many sports as possible. My goals for the season are to continue to grow as a student and as an athlete and hopefully help the team win a conference and national championship. Once I graduate, I would like to try to extend my running career or go into coaching and find a career in the medical field helping athletes. |
