Kansas City, Mo. - For the second time in the last three weeks, Central Methodist sophomore goalkeeper Niccolo Cabras was named the Heart of America Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Monday. 

Cabras also earned the honor back on Sept. 2. 

The native of Baunei, Italy, recorded two shutouts last week for the Eagles, including 4-0 wins over Hannibal-LaGrange and Grand View. 

Against the Vikings, Cabras tallied seven saves in the Eagles' Heart opening win. He is now a perfect 7-0 and has been instrumental in Central now being featured in the NAIA National rankings. 

Cabras and the Eagles will next face No. 11 Missouri Valley College Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Marshall, Mo.
