Kansas City, Mo. - For the first time in his career, sophomore forward Stefano Campisi was tabbed as the Heart Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday.
Campisi, a native of Milano, Italy, led Central to a 2-0 record this past week, including victories over Evangel and Grand View.
In CMU's 8-0 win over the Valor Wedensday, Campisi scored two goals and tallied two assists. He followed that up with the game tying goal against Grand View Saturday.
Through nine games this season, Campisi has scored four goals and dished out three assists for a total of 11 points.
Campisi and the No. 3 Eagles will return home to host Park University Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Davis Field.
